IBU Expert Forum 2026

The new EU Construction Products Regulation (CPR) is fundamentally changing the market: ecological data is becoming systemically relevant – and with it, its quality, validation and regulatory classification.

On 23 June 2026, the IBU is hosting a specialist forum in Berlin. The focus will be on current developments relating to the CPR, data quality and the growing importance of reliable environmental information in the market.

Planned topics include contributions on:

• New requirements under the Construction Products Regulation (CPR)
• Validation and accreditation as prerequisites for market access
• Quality assurance as effective protection against greenwashing
• Perspectives from politics, institutions, business and science
• In addition to technical input, the event will provide an opportunity for discussion and exchange. Afterwards, we will once again host a networking evening.
