#IBU-Wissen: EU-CPR (1/3)

With the new EU Construction Products Regulation (CPR), environmental performance indicators will be more closely integrated into CE marking in future. This brings into focus issues that many companies are currently grappling with: AVCP 3+, FPC (factory production control) and factory or (initial) site inspections. At the same time, the specific details of these requirements are still being worked out at European level. Guidelines are being developed, terminology is being refined and responsibilities are being clarified. For manufacturers, this means one thing above all: an increasing need for information and a desire for reliable classification.

As EPD programme holder, the IBU closely monitors regulatory developments and prepares the relevant content in a structured manner for its members. The aim is to provide guidance at an early stage and create transparency in a dynamic process.

To this end, a recurring three-part webinar series will launch shortly, offering a structured overview of current developments and an opportunity for members to ask questions and engage in discussion.

The contents of the webinars with Dr. Martina Bender are structured as follows:

Webinar 2: Organisation within the company: Making FPC practical and easy to implement in the 3+ System
Webinar 3: The Site Inspection: Procedure, cooperation and practical preparation

The webinar series is initially aimed at German-speaking IBU members. The webinar will be recorded and it will be available with English subtitles afterwards.
