Conversation on Trustworthy Journalism as an Antidote to Disinformation
Learn more about JTI's web offer designed to identify and reward trustworthy news sources.
Led by Reporters Without Borders (RSF) and its newly launched Journalism Trust Initiative (JTI), the one-hour session will feature colleagues from prominent news organizations around the world sharing their experiences with JTI's web offer designed to identify and reward trustworthy news sources.
JTI is a game-changing transparency tool designed to promote trustworthy journalism. At the core of the JTI is the self-assessment of media outlets to diagnose, optimize and promote the accuracy of their journalism. The aim for this conversation is to help you gain in depth and candid insights from fellow news executives and managers about the decision to take a radical and innovative step forward in the battle against disinformation.
The conversation will be interactive, and there will be time for Q&A from the audience. At present, the hosts are planning to hold the conversation in English. If there is sufficient interest, they will bring in translators for French, Spanish and/or German.
