Retrofitting measures for biofuel plants

Besides erecting entirely new biofuel plants, retrofitting – i.e. replacing a part of a factory or installation with state-of-the-art equipment – can be a very good alternative to substitute fossil fuels or to upgrade renewable technology. The aim of the technical discussions is to create a discussion platform for the development of industry networks in order to the flow of information for actors working in this field to sustainably improve its performance. This is intended to make a contribution to the optimized production and use of biofuels as a renewable energy source.
